A MICRO-FACTORY AT MILANO TRIENNALE MUSEUM

Dotdotdot multi-disciplinary design studio and OpenDot Fab Lab designed a special micro-factory space for the “999 / A collection of questions about contemporary living” exhibition inside the Milano Triennale Museum in order to reproduce a real maker-space with CNC machines, where talks and workshops were held by Opendot designers to teach the visitors how to prototype and make small objects. DUOPUU – as an Opendot member and co-founder – collaborated with the design team to define and produce, using the CNC router, special wooden modules and components, which were integrated in the steel-frame structures already prepared by Triennale curators.
